In 'The Lie', Principal Brown himself admits he doesnt know what his own species is. On Twitter, Bocquelet announced it was his decision to end the show after six seasons: On 'The Others', when Gumball realizes just how amazing his world is and how Clare Cooper needs to see it, Gumball says that he goes to school with a banana (Banana Joe), a toast (Anton), a T-Rex (Tina), a ghost (Carrie), and 'whatever Principal Brown is'. The show is only partially traditionally animated and uses a variety of filmmaking techniques, including live-action, puppetry, CGI, stop motion, and Flash animation.
The series revolves around the lives of 12-year-old Gumball Watterson, a blue cat, and his goldfish best friend and adoptive brother 10-year-old Darwin, who attend. Produced by Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe, it first aired on May 3, 2011, and ended on June 24, 2019. The animated series follows the adventures of Gumball Watterson, a middle school-age cat, and his eclectic family. The Amazing World of Gumball is a British-American animated sitcom created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Network. Recently, creator Ben Bocquelet announced season six will be the last for the Cartoon Network series. Looks like The Amazing World of Gumball may be coming to an end.
